Where Are You Now?
Hi, I’m Nancy May of CareManity LLC. 20 years ago, I unexpectedly, but willingly became my parent’s medical advocate and fiduciary, having been given their Durable Power of Attorney. This is my dad, Stuart, at 98, and me just before we boarded a helicopter together. Mom wouldn’t even go near the idea of a flight like this around a local harbor.
If you’re caring for your parents, spouse or another loved one, chances are you will go through some, if not most of the journey I went through. Here’s the inside story about how I kept my parents from financial ruin, medical catastrophes, and saved over $250k a year in care costs, and managed my own personal, physical, and financial stress, all from 1200 miles away.
I hear from many of us who “cry out for help” all the time. Little things, left unattended, often turn into disasters, even if you’re living close by. You might learn from some of the things I went through and share here.
Hang tight, you’re in for quite a ride!
Join Nancy May, and her guests as she helps relieve the pressures and delivers solid ways to find more joy and freedom as we care for those with those we love. Here you’ll learn how to find the ground under your feet again. Hang tight there’s a better road ahead!
